Reflection

 The problems and challenges I encountered during the second quarter included difficulty in understanding certain topics, a lack of time for studying, and a struggle with maintaining motivation. 

To address these issues, I sought help from my teachers and peers, created a more structured study schedule, and set specific goals for myself to work towards.

As I look ahead to the next quarter, I plan to continue reaching out for assistance when I need it, ensuring that I maintain a consistent and productive study routine. Additionally, I will keep setting achievable goals that will push me to grow and improve, while also being mindful to celebrate the progress I make along the way.

The second quarter presented its fair share of obstacles, but I am proud of the steps I took to overcome them. Through a combination of resourcefulness, discipline, and a willingness to learn, I was able to navigate the challenges and emerge stronger for it.

Moving forward, I am committed to building on the strategies that proved effective in the previous quarter.  Wanting to change the world is a noble thought, and I’m sure we all want to make a difference in our own unique ways. But the question remains - where and how do we start?

I believe the answer lies within ourselves. True, lasting change often begins with the individual, with the small steps we take every day to live more consciously and make a positive impact on our immediate surroundings. It’s about recognizing that our actions, no matter how seemingly insignificant, have the power to ripple outwards and inspire others.

Araw ng Kagitingan

 April 9th marks Araw ng Kagitingan, or the Day of Valor, a national holiday in the Philippines that commemorates the bravery and sacrifice of Filipino and American soldiers who fought against the Japanese invasion during World War II. 

The day is named after the Battle of Bataan and Corregidor, where these outnumbered and outgunned troops held off the Japanese onslaught for 69 days, inflicting heavy casualties and allowing the Allies to regroup and prepare for the eventual liberation of the Philippines. 

Sadly, the defenders were eventually forced to surrender due to lack of supplies and reinforcements, but their heroic stand is a testament to the indomitable spirit of the Filipino people. 

By commemorating Araw ng Kagitingan, we honor the memory of those who gave their lives to defend their homeland, and their legacy continues to inspire generations of Filipinos, reminding us of the importance of standing up for our freedom and independence, no matter the odds.

After a hearty lunch shared with friends and classmates, we gathered in the gymnasium for a concert featuring the talents of our peers. {Thematic Q1) Nature's Clean sweep; Keeping Our Environment Pristine

    Nature is a magnificent creation that offers immense beauty and creation. However, it is essential for us to recognize the importance of taking care of our environment. One way we can do this is by actively participating in activities such as picking up trash and cleaning. By doing so, we not only contribute of our natural surroundings but also gain a sense of fulfillment and connection to the earth.

    We can discuss the inherent value of nature and how it is influenced by the action of humans. We can mention how Our actions, such as littering, we can have detrimental effect on the ecosystem and overall aesthetic appeal of nature. We can see how this simple act can prevent pollution, protect wildlife, and maintain the health of our ecosystems. Furthermore, we can highlight how small efforts from individuals collectively make a significant impact on the environment.

    In this first picture i join to the "brigada iskwela" in my Elementary School before, it can delve into the benefits of cleaning activities on a personal level. We can expound on the relaxing and therapeutic aspects of being outdoors in nature, engaging acts of cleaning and restoration.
